A Taste of Heaven

I would never recommend a product I did not believe in.
This week I tried Plexus 96 and fell in love with it.
I am no stranger to the protein shake.
I have one at least three or four times a week.
I have sampled many shake recipes and I have tried many protein powders.
My favorite recipe, four ounces cranberry juice, two ounces water, the protein powder,
(I alternate 1/2 of a banana or a hand full of blueberries every other shake)
throw in about six ice cubes and blend.
I call it breakfast in less than 90 seconds.

How is Plexus 96 different from my regular protein shake mix?
Plexus 96 does not have a bitter taste, has 96 calories,
not 140, contains more vitamins and has half the carbohydrates
of my old protein powder.
Plexus comes in an easy to use Go-Pack, not a 2 pound container.
Plexus 96 also tastes great just mixed with cold water,
something I could never imagine doing with my old protein powder and
it gave me more energy. If purchased as a preferred customer,

Pear Berry Blizzard: 8 oz. skim milk, 1 packet Plexus 96, 1 cup sliced pears,
4 frozen strawberries & 6 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender

Pear Glace Cooler: 6 oz. water, 1 packet Plexus 96, 1 cup sliced pears,
3 chunks frozen watermelon, & 6 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Pina Colada: 8 oz. skim milk, 1 packet Plexus 96,
5 large chunks frozen pineapple, 1/2 tsp. coconut extract, & 5 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Pineapple Crush: 8 oz. skim milk, 1 packet Plexus 96,
6 chunks frozen pineapple (1/2 cup) & 4 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Pineapple Mango Tango: 8 oz. skim milk, 1 packet Plexus 96,
½ cup frozen pineapple, ½ cup frozen mango chunks & 5 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake: 8 oz. skim milk, 2 packets Plexus 96, (doubles the protein and calories)
½ tsp. butter flavoring (or butter buds), ½ tsp. vanilla extract, ½ cup frozen pineapple,
¼ cup frozen dark sweet cherries & 6 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Plum Cooler: 8 oz. skim milk, 1 packet Plexus 96, 1 plum (pitted),
juice of 1 lemon & 4 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Pumpkin Spice: 8 oz. skim milk, 1 packet Plexus 96,
1/3 cup canned pumpkin (without salt), 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract,
1/8 tsp. cinnamon, 1/8 tsp. nutmeg & 2 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Purple Cow: 8 oz. Almond milk, 1 Tbsp. frozen grape juice concentrate,
1 packet Plexus 96, ½ frozen banana & 5 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Raspberry Freeze: 8 oz. Almond milk, 1 packet Plexus 96,
30 frozen raspberries & 5 ice cubes.Blend well in blender.

Raspberry Fizz: 6 oz. water, 1 packet Plexus 96,
30 frozen raspberries, & 5 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Raspberry Mint Chocolate: 8 oz. Chocolate Almond milk,
1 packet Plexus 96, 30 frozen raspberries,
½ tsp. peppermint extract, & 5 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Red, White & Blue: 8 oz. Almond milk, 2 packets Plexus 96, (doubles the calories and the protein),
1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup frozen strawberries.
Blend well in blender.

Root Beer Float: 4 oz. Almond milk, 1 packet Plexus 96-mix together in blender first.
Add ½ cup ice. Add ½ can diet mug root beer (to taste) and
pulse a few time to mix in.

Sex on the Beach: 4 oz. cranberry juice (no sugar added),
4 oz. reduced calorie orange juice, 1 packet Plexus 96,
1 cup pineapple (frozen or canned) & 8 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender

Snicker doodle: 8 oz. light vanilla soy milk, 1 packet Plexus 96,
1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 Tbsp. Honey & 5 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Spiced Cranberry: 8 oz. cranberry juice (no sugar added), 1 packet Plexus 96,

1 tsp. sugar free caramel flavoring, 2 oz. fat-free cream cheese,

Very Berry: 8 oz. sparkling water, 1 packet Plexus 96, 10 frozen raspberries,
6 frozen strawberries, & 2 ice cubes.
Blend well in blender.

Watermelon Slush: 6 oz. water, 1 packet Plexus 96, 5 large chunks fresh watermelon &
8 ice cubes. Blend ice & water in blender first, then add shake mix & watermelon & blend.

Wild Berry Blast: 8 oz. water, 1 packet Plexus 96, 8 frozen raspberries,
4 frozen strawberries, 15 frozen blueberries & 6 ice cubes.

Plexus Pumpkin Spice Cookies

In the fall we all look for those wonderful smelling and
great tasting baked goods…
here is a fantastic recipe that is sure to fit the bill ~
Plexus Pumpkin Spice Cookies!
These are really good, and if you figure in that they are
just over 100 calories each (104 to be exact)
they are awesome! Sit out on the porch, sip on some milk and
nibble on a couple of these will take all your problems away…
if only a for a few minutes.

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp clove
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tea baking soda
1/2 tea baking powder
1 1 packet Plexus 96
1/2 tea salt
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar (or whatever sweetener you prefer)
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 egg
1 tea vanilla
1 cup quick oats
1 cup raisins

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees,
Mix together flour, spices, baking soda,
baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, beat butter and sugar together
in a bowl until they reach a creamy consistency.
Add the pumpkin, egg, and vanilla extract.
Mix until smooth.
Slowly add the flour mixture to the
butter mixture and mix until combined.
Mix oats and raisins into batter.
Drop blobs (1-2 tablespoons) of batter
onto cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Cool and devour!

Chocolate Banana Nut Bread


This is a great and healthy way to
have your chocolate and eat it too!

Ingredients

1/2 cup pecans
3 Bananas
4 egg whites
3 tbsp spoons self rising flour
1 1 packet Plexus 96
3 tbsp spoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Using a Food Processor, chop up pecans.
Peel and mash bananas.
Add everything to a bowl and
mix it all up really good.
Put into a well greased loaf pan and
bake at 350 for 45 minutes or
until a knife comes out clean.

The whole recipe is 1000 calories.

I got 8 good sized slices out of it
at 125 calories each.

Adjust your calories accordingly.

Plexus 96 Chocolate Chip Muffins


Muffins are always a great snack –
even for the hubby and kiddos!
So here is a great recipe!

Ingredients

2 packages Plexus 96
3 Egg Whites
2 Tablespoons Self-Rising Flour
2 Tablespoons Chocolate Chips (I used 1 semi sweet and 1 white)

Directions:

Mix together and bake at 425 for about 12 minutes,
watch them and make sure they don’t get too brown!

This made 4 normal size muffins and
by my calculations should only be
about 109.5 calories each!

Plexus Peanut Butter FUDGE

Ingredients

1 1 packet Plexus 96
2 tsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 tsp chopped pecans
2 tsp milk

Directions:

Melt peanut butter
in the microwave
(30 seconds was good for me),
stir in 96, cocoa powder,
and milk. Stir until smooth.
At Pecans, (or whatever nuts you
have in your kitchen at the time).
Put in small tupperware (no lid).
Freeze about 20-30 minutes to set.
I cut this into 4 small squares
with just 56 calories in each.
(Not exactly baked goods, but it is GOOD!)

Plexus 96 Banana Bread. AND NO FLOUR or SUGAR! Delicious & Healthy.

Ingredients

2 cups of almond meal (you can use wholemeal flour)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 heaped teaspoon of Plexus 96
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup honey
3 organic free range eggs, beaten
3 mashed overripe bananas

Directions:

Preheat oven to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C.)
Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl,
combine all ingredients except salt.
Mix until smooth consistency,
by hand or electric mix.
Pour batter into baking paper lined loaf pan.
Sprinkle with Salt.
Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes,
until a toothpick inserted into center
of the loaf comes out clean and golden brown.
Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes,
then turn out onto a wire rack.

Plexus 96 (no bake) Protein Balls

Ingredients:

1 packet Plexus 96
1/3 quick oats
a dribble of water
Ovaltine or coconut,
crushed Almonds

Directions:
mix 96 and oats,
add dribble of water,
(just enough to make
it all stick)
Roll in Ovaltine powder
or coconut mixed with
crushed Almonds.

That’s it!
Options, chopped
dried Black Cherries
mixed in with the
oats and 96.

Plexus 96 Pancakes!

Ingredients

6 oz fat free yogurt
1 egg white
1/4 cup flour
1 packet Plexus 96
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:

Just mix it all up and make like normal pancakes!
The first batch I made were with mixed berry yogurt,
but the twins inhaled them before
I could take some pictures.
This batch is strawberry banana.
You can change it up however you’d like.
Best Part is… the whole recipe
is about 300 calories
(depending on the yogurt) and
it made 6 nice size pancakes!

That’s only 50 calories each!!!
